About me

Welcome to The Asthetic of Jess!

My name is Jess – a travel blogger, content creator, travel planner and your go-to guide for authentic adventures.

A few years ago, I was the classic corporate girl: burning through vacation days just to get a glimpse of freedom, only to end up with zero time left for actual travel. I told myself it was lack of time, lack of people to go with, lack of… everything. Meanwhile, I was watching others live the life I secretly wanted: hopping on planes, discovering new places, looking effortlessly free.
Every Monday morning, I came back to the office more drained than before. I thought I was doing everything “right”, working hard, waiting for retirement, squeezing in a rushed trip once a year. But deep down, I knew I was trading my best years for a system that wasn’t designed to let me live.

I tried the usual: scrolling endless travel deals, planning only when others were available, waiting for the “perfect time.” Spoiler alert: that perfect time never came. And every year, my wanderlust grew louder while my excuses kept me grounded. Then I booked a trip to a city that wasn’t even on my radar. I paid a fraction of the cost thanks to a few hacks I stumbled on and that one decision changed everything. It wasn’t just a trip. It was proof. Proof that I didn’t need unlimited PTO or a travel buddy to start living my dream.

After visiting 15+ countries around my full-time job and other responsibilities I decided to turn my passion of sharing beautiful destinations and unique experiences inspired me and the Asthetic of Jess was born. I’m all about blending welll-thought out itineraries with room for serendipitous discoveries while strolling the streets.

Because I know there are people out there like me: ambitious, hardworking, craving adventure without sacrificing their career or sanity.

My way is simple: travel is not just a luxury, it’s a lifeline. It’s how we reclaim time, mental space, and energy. And I refuse to wait for retirement to live a life worth remembering.

Don’t wait for the right time.
